High School Graduation

I remember the red gowns and that rain chased the graduation indoors from the football field to the crowded gym.  As far as the speeches, not really.  I don’t even remember the moment when the principal handed me my diploma.  It might not sound like it, but I know I was there! 

Yesterday, for the first time since my own high school graduation, I attended a high school graduation.  Since I don’t remember, I can’t really compare the two.  I do know that yesterday’s graduation of Jordan High School was well run and efficient.  It was at Duke University and was the third one of the day at Cameron Indoor Stadium.  My nephew is now a graduate and on his way to college. 

I wonder if this class of 2009 will remember their big day better than I did way back.  Here’s a quick look.
