Powder Puff Football and Manleaders

They were wearing pink but playing football.  I never heard of powder puff football when I was growing up, we called it flag football.  I liked flag football in gym class, except for the time I ran straight into a boy name Hugh Tozer and broke my nose!  Hugh was a big guy.

I guess when it’s all girls, it is called powder puff.  The girls played hard and no broken noses!  There were some good collisions though.

The games were fun, and since some of the girls playing football are cheerleaders, some of the boys who play football became cheerleaders, or as they called themselves “manleaders”.  I will tell you they were good.  Here is the end of their halftime performance of Put A Ring On It.
