Saving With Coupons

Good times, bad times (I think that is a Led Zeppelin song), well anyway, no matter what the times;I have always clipped coupons.  It is one of the benefits of still getting a Sunday paper.  Most of the time I stay with products that I would normally buy, but every once in a while a coupon will get me to buy something that normally I wouldn’t.

When grocery shopping, I know that Harris Teeter and Kroger double the coupons.  I know, some of their products can be expensive when not on sale.  So what I do is, shop at Harris Teeter for the specials and their meats.  A few weeks ago they were tripling coupons.  I was there.

On a box of Mini Wheats that was on sale for half off; I used a coupon and after all the multiplying, the cereal cost the store 56 cents!  All toll, I spent about $51, after saving over $20 in coupons alone.

Needless to say, my stomach and wallet were happy campers.
