Siesta Savings
With an early dismissal from school yesterday, my daughter and wife wanted to go out to lunch. Due to some appointments we didn’t get to go until 2pm. Having a late lunch, however, turned out to be very economical.
We ate Mexican and Terero’s and they have a big sign, that I never noticed before, talking about 2pm to 4pm being a Siesta Lunch. If you eat there during that time you get 25% off your total bill! What a nice treat, speaking of which, we lived it up and got desert, fried ice cream. I don’t know if any other restaurants are offering mid-afternoon discounts; but next time we want Mexican for lunch, I might take a siesta at noon and wait and go eat at 2pm again.
