Cubs Collapse…Again
I don’t think there is anyone alive who remembers the last time the Cubs won a World Series.
Being a die-hard Cub fan all my life, I have lived through the 1969 collapse, the 1984 NL Championship game 5 meltdown, the 2003 NL Championship game 6, Steve Bartman ball meltdown and now this!
I think last night in the second inning will go down in Cubs lore as another meltdown. Here is a link to the imfamous video.
Unfortunately, I think they are done.
2 errors in and inning where they should have gotten out of it with no runs. Instead they gave up 5. How does this happen? Last year they were swept by the Arizona Diamondbacks and this year the Dodgers might do it to them.
But here is what gets me, I will still watch them this Saturday night, even though the game doesn’t start til after 10pm. What’s wrong with me!?
