Winter Continues Up North
Just saw that Anchorage Alaska had a record snowfall a couple of days ago, now you might think hey it’s Alaska, of course they have snow in spring. Well, yes, their record for snow for April 25th was 1.8″, they had over 15″! Some areas had storm totals of 22″. The one day total was their 3rd most snowiest for any day of the year. The month of April will finish as the snowiest April on record with almost 30″ and guess what more snow is in the forecast for today.
The sun is up before 6am and doesn’t set until after 10pm, so I am sure the long days will melt the snow quickly. Then they can enjoy some spring activities as May starts tomorrow.
