Cubs win! Weather Loses.
Went to DC this weekend to see my favorite team in any sport, the Cubs. Yes, I must be a glutton for punishment.
The forecast from Washington’s finest called for showers and storms during the game. (Over 80% chance.) Therefore, I was very concerned that we would get rained out. Despite the forecast, my family and I headed out with a bag of umbrellas, raincoats, and towels. 
The new Nationals park was beautiful and it was a great night for baseball, it didn’t rain during the game! So this one time, I am glad a meteorologist messed up the forecast. Or did they?
On the way out of the park after the Cubs win, the skies let loose and we got soaked. That was fine with me as I savored my first game in over ten years.
