Snowy Winter
Winter storm warnings continue for our mountains today as a winter wonderland is in progress. Check out this Beech Mountain Web Cam. Even though the Triangle has had less than 1″ of snow this winter it is much different elsewhere. Chicago and much of the upper midwest is having their snowiest winter since the late 70s and early 80s. See the attached article. Also the northern hemisphere this winter is experiencing its snowiest winter since 1966.
Now if we could only figure out a way to get that snow to come to the sunny south all the children, and some adults would be happy.
