Pizzelle, think Ice Cream not Pizza

Yesterday I cooked up some Pizzelles to enjoy for dessert.  A pizzelle is a thin cookie-like sweet that basically is made like a waffle cone, just smaller.

A couple years ago my mother in law got me a pizzelle maker and when I first tried it a I got a icky mess.  It stuck to the machine and didn’t have any shape or texture.  After realizing that you have to season the press, duh, I was able to make some nice looking and tasty pizzelles.

Basically the recipe is flour, baking powder, sugar, butter, and vanilla.  No use listing the exact ingredients because the key to a great pizzelle is a pizzelle maker.
